What's in a name?

This month the killifish in focus is Fundulopanchax gardneri Akure. I have received a trio from a breeder in Melbourne.
The trio was set up in a two foot split tank with an air driven sponge filter. The tank itself has no gravel but the back and sides are painted blue and the bottom painted black. A large java fern and two sinking spawning mops are the other additions to the tank.
| The above image is one of the original females I received from Melbourne via Sydney!!! It is an intersting story actually ;o) |
Breeding To breed Akure sinking breeding mops is all that is needed. I found most eggs are fertile and water incubation is all that is needed. |
